We’re incredibly proud of our junior teammate Jack Falcon, who recently presented research at the NAPCRG International Primary Care Research Conference.

Jack, a junior biochemistry major with minors in finance and theology, delivered an oral presentation on an ongoing, multi-year study examining lung cancer screening (LCS) rates among high-risk patients. His research explores whether proactive outreach, identifying eligible patients through electronic medical records and contacting them before primary care appointments, can increase screening rates. While the study is still underway, preliminary findings suggest this approach may improve early detection.

From early morning practices to international research conferences, Jack continues to represent the CUA Swim & Dive Team and the University with excellence. We’re so proud to call him a teammate, a true scholar and athlete in every sense.
