From April 28-30, our Spring 2026 graduates presented their final Capstone projects in front of friends, family, fellow classmates, faculty advisors, partner organizations, and other members of our community. Congratulations to our 2026 graduates: Priscila Putzulu, Mauricio Rodríguez Rentería, Abby Tank, Claire Castrejon, Antonia Díaz Montgomery, Santiago Barros Pinzón, Thalia Pasetto Biléssimo, Daniel Antônio Miguel, Cesar Romero Hormaza, Erika Wisby, Lee Schlenker, Owen Harrison, Ana Freitas Melo, and Eric Bazail-Eimil for the successful completion of their Capstone projects! We are very proud of all the work they have done and wish them all the best in their future endeavors!

Reflejos is a digital collection of academic reflections that CLAS assembles and distributes annually. Reflejos serves as a platform for CLAS students, alumni, visiting scholars, and faculty to share written work on themes relevant to Latin America and the Caribbean. CLAS will welcome Her Excellency Maria Luiza Ribeiro Viotti, Brazil’s Ambassador to the U.S., as part of its Ambassador Series. The Series is designed to provide the CLAS and Georgetown University community an opportunity to meet and have a conversation with the region’s Ambassadors about contemporary issues impacting their country and the hemisphere. Please note that Chatham House Rules apply due to the delicate nature of our conversations.
