When I was 18, I had to drop out of school after becoming pregnant. I tried to take my GED in 2020, but then COVID-19 hit and delayed my plans. When I finally learned I could take the test, I was so excited. Now, I feel incredibly proud of myself!

I really enjoyed my experience, not only with the teachers but also with the other students.

Now that I have my diploma, I plan to earn my accounting degree and then pursue a degree in tax. My goal is to eventually take over my mom’s business, just as I promised her I would before she passed away. - Christine, GED grad

I had been so upset with myself for not graduating. When my daughter started her second year of preschool, I realized the timing was finally right to earn my GED. I wanted to show her that with hard work and determination, you can achieve your goals and go far.
