If someone were to ask me what is it that I do for work, I’d say I listen to life. I don’t really do in my “work”. I just am. I listen. I’m present and I listen.

I facilitate inquiry from listening.
I guide asana from listening.
I guide stillness from listening.
I guide centering from listening.
I guide embodied movement from listening.
I create from listening.

Life is my guide. Life is honest. Hence I guide from listening to life, as it is.

You’re not broken, you’re not delayed, you’re not cursed, nothing’s inherently wrong, I’m not here to fix you or your life, I’m here to help guide you back to your primordial knowing.

“There’s nothing but god in this world.” ——Neville Goddard

I heard Neville’s voice say this several months ago and it still echoes in my bones, blood, breath and spirit today.

I don’t get hung up on words, the name “god”. Source is that which can not be encapsulated. Replace the word ‘god’ with whatever resonates deeply within you as you feel to.

I heard his words and received it in codes.

This particular phrase, now repeated as a living mantra, continues to invite its energy back into my field. I hear this and the character jasiri dissolves, willingly.

I share this one for the grace and power that it instantaneously connects me back to. It’s remembrance of what is, as it is. I simply remember that I am not my body, thoughts or stories. My posture becomes erect and I remember that I Am Now.

I remembered that to know the truth of anything as part of one’s experience, I can simply ask here within me. Why? Because the Source of this body of mine expresses within as well. Source and its creations are never separate. This lets me know that I can call upon clarity to express within me, and one way to do so is to consciously shape my desired experience from within. Reciting mantras is a way for me to do so. I find it soothing, clarifying, steady.

MONDAY MANTRA

“I activate the living codes throughout my physical body.”

If you’re wondering what these words mean, speak them aloud first; either internally or aloud. Invite its reverberations to meet with your experience of yourself. Become curious about what they mean to you, what they offer you. As I don’t have the answers for your knowing through yourself.

I can share that for me, I’m aware that the way we learned about our human experience is incredibly limiting. I remembered that to know the truth of anything as part of one’s experience, I can simply ask here within me. Why? Because the Source of this body of mine expresses within as well. Source and its creations are never separate. This lets me know that I can call upon clarity to express within me, and one way to do so is to consciously shape my desired experience from within. Reciting mantras is a way for me to do so. I find it soothing, clarifying, steady.

Chanting or reciting mantras is a tool that supports one’s capacity to focus the mind. Mind is what produces tangible or material world through the body. ⁠

Mind is either the cause of your lived experiences or the effect of it. ⁠
⁠
Sometimes we experience congestion within our mind, which oftentimes leads to the feeling of overwhelm or anxiety. So it helps to prioritize the very source which produces thoughts, thinking, and perceiving by bringing one’s attention towards it. ⁠
⁠
Through practice, I realized that chanting is essentially a purifier. We have purifiers for the air inside our dwelling and the water we consume. The function of the purifier is to clear or cleanse the environment of either the air or water. ⁠
⁠
When we chant, we purify the mind and body with breathing consciously and intuitively. We purify in the way we tone the voice to create sound harmonics that clear obstruction and energetic debris. ⁠
⁠
Chanting with heart-centered willingness and non-attachment returns us to essential presence. ⁠

"The breath is the teacher."

I'd say this to students or anyone practicing asana and pranayama with me.

I say this because I see this. I see plainly the relationship between the breath and the body.

I'd say to students: "Notice the body's response to your exhalation." Or... "Trace the passage of air entering your belly, lungs, back. Notice the sensations it stirs. Notice the body's relationship with the breath."

I spent an entire year closely examining the breath, its movement, its nature, and its relationship with my body. Because I paid such close attention, I began to see that it was showing me things I hadn't realized before. Essentially, the breath was teaching me or showing me how to be with life, how to see into it, and to learn about life with revised seeing.

Here's a list of a few things I learned from being with the breath:

🔸Inhaling acknowledges life
🔸Exhaling accepts death
🔸Only love is real
🔸Love allows
🔸Resonance and non-resonance as opposed to right and wrong
🔸The believer is still calibrating
🔸I don't need to know anything outside of myself
🔸My life is for me
🔸Titles change, substance remains
🔸Life is practice
🔸We are each the initiator of all our personal initiations
🔸Stillness doesn't mean not moving
🔸Quiet is essential
🔸There's no such thing as "it should look or be a certain way."
🔸Feel the fear, move with love
🔸I am worthy always because the Source of this creation resides within me
🔸What's left of me after everyone's thoughts, expectations, experiences, feelings and doctrines has emptied from me?
🔸Return to my essential Self

——Is it true?

🔸To say I am jasiri is to suggest, think, assume, feel or {believe} that jasiri is what I am.

🔸To state the obvious: jasiri is just a name; a name that can be given to any life, a temporary life at that.

🔸It’s fine to say “I’m jasiri”, and it’s ok to respond to the name, but (knowing) the truth is liberating.

What would happen on the other side of questioning your thoughts?
