Many students struggle in mastering the English language not due to lack of capability, but because they're often equipped with ineffective strategies. It's akin to a sports team preparing for a match with the wrong game plan - a recipe for frustration and disappointment.

But how can you tell if your child is using the wrong strategy for literacy? Here are some telltale signs:
