Future Plans: Applying to medical school.

Advice: “Preparing for medical school is stressful, but don’t let your worries about the future overshadow your present happiness. Find peace and joy in the journey, and just remember that everything will be fine!”

Future Plans: MSPH in Health Education and Communication with a maternal and child health focus at Johns Hopkins.

Advice: “Increase your network! Make friends with those you are passionate with and connect with faculty/alumni who model your career goals.”

Future Plans: Working for a year and then applying to PA school.

Advice: “Try different things. What will work out, will work out but at least you tried it. Doing this will open so many doors that you never thought were there!”

Future Plans: Attending the Georgetown Special Master’s Program and then medical school.

Advice: “Be proactive and ask a lot of questions.”

Future Plans: Attending GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Advice: “Believe in yourself. This is a challenging journey, but don’t give up!”

Future Plans: Living in the DMV and working during gap year.

Advice: “Don’t be too hard on yourself while you navigate your pre-health journey. Enjoy college and any/all interests you may have!”

Future Plans: Dual MPN/MSN program at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing.

Future Plans: Taking a gap year to finish medical school applications and continuing working as a medical assistant.

Advice: “Don’t lose yourself to the pre-health track. YOU and your individuality come first. Take care of yourself because your biggest cheerleader has to be you.”
