The Office of Campus Ministry mourns the loss of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI. We were blessed to welcome the pontiff to our University on April 17, 2008. And through witnessing his selfless dedication to Christ’s Church throughout his life. O God, who in your wondrous providence chose your servant Pope Benedict XVI to preside over your Church, grant, we pray, that, having served as the Vicar of your Son on earth, he may pass through the shadow of the valley of death guided by the rod and staff of the Good Shepherd. Who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
