Sending a special herald salute to Tiny Tot Nursery School Queen Melanie Evans 👸🏾for sharing these adorable photos from her Royal Coronation on November 22, 1964. 👑✨

Queen Melanie’s graceful ceremonial bow is beautifully captured with train bearer Tracy Webb standing proudly by her side. Featured in the 1964 Royal Court were King William McKinney 🤴🏾; Retiring King Darryl Herndon, Retiring Queen, Cynthia Birden. Flower Girls 💐for the Special Maids: Ester Allen, Jada Jenkins, Cynthia Bosley, and Terri McKinney; Special Attendants: Orville Kirk, Craig Spruill, Charles Weathers, Alan Robinson, and William Ward; Special Maids: Marsha Jones, Carla McBride, Harriet Mucherson, Pamela Randall, Cathy Enge, and Aleta Brown; Crown Bearers: Mark Overbey and Preston Montgomery; and Flower Girls for the Queen: Vivian Anderson, Adoria Pack, Angela Elazier, Phyllis Marshall, and Angela Gooden.

These precious memories from Tiny Tot Nursery School helped lay the foundation for Francene M. D. Hill’s book, Tiny Tots in Tiaras and Tuxedos, preserving Kermit B. Hill’s legacy of tradition, elegance, and community for generations to come.
