🗳️ Kicking Off February with Action: Empowering Women to Run and Lead

We are starting the new month with a clear message: Leadership isn't just about having a voice; it’s about having a seat at the table.

To set the tone for the month ahead, we are proud to highlight the impactful work our Partnership and Development Intern, Braga, is doing with Ready to Run Pennsylvania at the Pennsylvania Center for Women and Politics (PCWP).

In addition to her role with us, Clara serves as a Communications Assistant for the PCWP, helping to facilitate this critical training ground for women preparing to run for office. The program, part of the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University, tackles the real-world hurdles of political leadership:

🔹 Skill Building: Fundraising, campaigning, and strategic communication.

🔹 Inclusion: A focused pre-conference on Women of Color in Politics.

🔹 Mentorship: Hearing from trailblazers like Allegheny County Executive Sara Innamorato.

At The Collaborative, we champion civic engagement at every level. We are energized to start February by celebrating programs like Ready to Run, which are essential for equipping women with the confidence and tools to step into public service and drive systemic change.
