Introducing two new Learning for Practitioners programs for 2026-27‼️

This May and June, we're heading to Egypt and Tunisia for two short-term professional learning opportunities designed for higher education faculty, administrators, and practitioners -

Medicine, Care, and Culture in Egypt: Learn alongside Egyptian healthcare professionals and educators through visits to hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and other healthcare settings in Cairo.

Enterprise, Innovation, and Culture in Tunisia: Engage with Tunisian entrepreneurs, innovators, educators, and emerging business leaders in Tunis and Sousse to explore the ways that new ideas move from a concept to community impact.

Both programs are built around meaningful professional exchange with colleagues and peers in the field. Apply by February 2 to join us for a one-of-a-kind learning experience and bring new perspectives back to your own practice!

📣We've got big news to kick off the weekend! Applications for CASE 2027 are now open!

CASE: Community and Social Entrepreneurship, is an 8-day fully funded program in Tunis, Tunisia. The program engages with the topics of civic engagement, sustainability, labor, identity, and other critical global justice issues through Tunisian and North African lenses. Applications are open exclusively to students currently enrolled at a community or technical college.

Applications are competitive, so be sure to give yourself plenty of time to submit by the October 27 deadline! Go to https://edabroad.amideast.org/_portal/tds-program-brochure?programid=43221 to learn more and start an application.

Beginning this fall, you can also learn more about Amazigh languages in our new Tashlhiyt course where you'll be introduced to the basics of the language, including gaining basic literacy in the Tifinagh script! Spring applications are now open!
