The George Washington University Sustainable Urban Planning graduate studio has had such a productive and fun semester working with the DC Office of Planning Commemorate DC initiative. Hi friends! This November we’re giving back to the community that gives so much to us. 🌆

SUPSO’s food drive supports local DC residents impacted by the government shutdown and reduced SNAP benefits. Bring your donations to the designated box in the common space at the Arlington campus. Donations will be given to Martha’s Table. ❤️

We had a fantastic time soaking up the sun and eating some snacks together in Malcom X Park last Saturday for our inaugural Second Saturday event this semester! Many of us used the skills we gained in crowd-favorite Parks Planning class taught each Summer by Prof Eliza Voigt to assess what makes Malcolm X Park great and how it can be improved. What is your favorite public space in the city?

Miss out on this event and want to spend more time with your fellow classmates? Come out to Malcom X Park (Meridian Hill Park) this Saturday from 12-2pm for a picnic in the park!
