The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9274 needs volunteers Sunday:

-12:30pm to 2pm at 122 Blagden Alley NW in DC to load a moving truck with donations in storage to be transported to one of the donation centers in Virginia. This will take approximately an hour and a half.

-3pm to 7pm at 4425 Brookfield Corporate Dr., Chantilly VA to sort and repackage donations to send to military bases housing Afghans.

BZ to our GU Student Veterans Association! The GUSVA leadership have been spreading the word throughout the campus on how our community can support the arriving Afghan Refugees.

Proud of our student veterans! They continue to answer the call to serve.

Countless diapers, toothbrushes, bars of soap and other items - we finished tonight around 8pm. Tomorrow these boxes (and other boxes not pictures) will be transferred to another storage facility before being provided to Afghan Refugees.

The Georgetown University Student Veterans Association will be working with VFW Post 9274 to support Afghan Refugees arriving in the DMV.

If you're interested in joining them - they will be on site Fridays from 5-8pm and Saturdays 4-7pm.
