I wanted to test a different approach.

Can a Vision-Language Model localize vehicles directly fromnatural language and power a complete tracking pipeline?T built a prototype using NVIDIA's LocateAnything andRoboflow's Trackers library.

The pipeline is surprisingly simple:LocateAnything → ByteTrackLocateAnything is NVIDIA's new vision-language groundingmodel that introduces Parallel Box Decoding (PBD), allowingthe model to predict geometric regions directly instead ofgenerating bounding box coordinates token-by-token.In this experiment, I used prompts such as:
