It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...GET OUT & VOTE!!! Took mom to vote this morning and it was a breeze; in and out in about 15 minutes max...not a bad experience at all this year 🥰.

PICTURE IT: FOUR days before a program's full-day professional development day, I am contacted by one of the program's division managers inquiring whether or not I would be available to conduct either a full-day training or a couple of sessions for a group of up to 40 educators.

I must confess when I was contacted on the 6th of November to conduct training on the 10th of November, I was like ain't NO WAY...Funny thing though, when you have a gift, your past work speaks for itself, and you can walk it like you talk it and have the receipts to back you up, there ain't nothin' nobody can do or say about it.

So, after communicating with the organization and realizing that I WAS MORE THAN CAPABLE OF ADDRESSING THE PAIN POINTS they discussed with my eyes closed, I decided YES WAY!!! I took a leap, bet on myself and my skills, and created a PD package, a MOU, and an invoice in a couple of hours (with TODAY's prices, not YESTERDAY's prices, plus an expedited fee) and submitted it to the organization. It was agreed upon, signed, and executed in no time flat.

Needless to say, while I haven't trained a group of educators outside of my small OST staff since August '22, I ROCKED IT!!! The participants and the directors had nothing but positive feedback. Check out a few testimonials from some of the participants.

Between January '22 - March '22--personally and as the founder and principle consultant of EmpowerEDrWe Consulting--I was on the GO GO; grinding and hustling constantly. As many of us know hustling and grinding constantly eventually catches up to you and REST becomes inevitable. I didn't "rest" in the regular sense of the word, but I definitely took a step back and was not as visible and IN YO FACE as much the tail end of March and the beginning of April. However, I did not stop creating and hustling behind the scenes, so STAY TUNED for what's to come (SOON).

And LOOK AT GOD!!! I have not one, BUT FOUR engagements in the month of March alone.
