Congress must continue to invest and not cut funding to AANAPISIs. Federal funds will ensure that AANAPISIs continue to support the success of first generation AANHPI students with low income and change the trajectory of their lives. To take action in support of AANAPISIs, check out the AANAPISI Week toolkit at https://bit.ly/AANAPISI2023.
Inequitable funding limits the number of institutions that are able to provide targeted supports and programs to first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented AANHPI students. Congress must fund AANAPISIs in order to promote equity in higher education, access to college, and opportunities for underrepresented AANHPI students.
