The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) is committed to providing information that assists DC families in realizing their educational goals and aspirations.

In April, the Educational Opportunity Center led 31 Juniors from the Duke Ellington School of the Arts on a free one-day college tour to visit the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).

Attendees had the opportunity to ask lots of thoughtful questions, received great information about the institution, student life, and financial aid, and walked away with giveaways and college admissions resources.

Our presence at the event is a product of EOC Counselor Diego Aliaga and Soney Wright's continued efforts to extend the Center's reach to D.C.'s Spanish-speaking Community.

While manning a table at the all-day event, Counselors greeted the Festival's guests, introduced them to EOC services, and passed out EOC swag and giveaways. We look forward to partnering with GO Colombia LLC to continue to support this wonderful event.
