Howard University College of Dentistry students are making an impact on a global scale.
Through a new initiative led by Dr. Bridgette Rhodes, students traveled to J.S.S. Dental College and Hospital in India as ambassadors for oral cancer prevention—addressing the critical issue of chewing to***co use among youth.

With many individuals beginning use at an early age and facing increased risk of oral cancer, this initiative focuses on education, awareness, and prevention.

Through the campaign, our students are helping advance a global conversation around oral health and disease prevention.
This is dentistry beyond the clinic—this is impact.
