Last month, our students had the rare opportunity to sit face to face with active duty Navy dental officers at the Navy Medicine Summit (Navy Medicine). During the summit, we had a powerful conversation about military service, scholarship opportunities, and what it means to wear both a white coat and a uniform.
The Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) offers full dental school funding in exchange for commissioned military service. Events like this ensure our students have every pathway available to them.
