💡 آج کا اُردو لفظ: پریشان (Pareshan)

Distressed

This is an adjective commonly used to describe someone's state of mind.

How to Form a Sentence (The Verb):

In Urdu, you usually say "I am worried" using the verb "Hona" (ہونا) or "Rehna" (رہنا).

Example 1 (Simple Statement):

Urdu: میں بہت پریشان ہوں ۔

Roman: Main bohat pareshan hoon.

Meaning: I am very worried.

Example 2 (Giving Comfort):

Urdu: پریشان مت ہو!

Roman: Pareshan mat ho!

Meaning: Don't worry! (A common phrase to comfort someone.)

Example 3 (Asking Why):

Urdu: آپ کس بات پر پریشان ہیں؟

Roman: Aap kis baat par pareshan hain?
