Huge shoutout to the incredible team Illuminate USA for hosting members of the CPI board Sarah Slusser from Cypress Creek Renewables, Congressman Tim Ryan, Jim Murphy from Invenergy, and American Clean Power Association at Illuminate’s Ohio factory last week. Thank you for sharing the inspiring story of this manufacturing facility that employs more than 1,000 Ohioans in well-paying jobs to produce high quality, American-made solar panels!

Big news! The Clean Power Institute and ACP just launched the first-ever industry-recognized skills-based certification for wind technicians. Eighteen companies joined forces to build and pilot this certification and chart the future of workforce excellence.

This groundbreaking effort isn’t just about raising the bar on skills and competencies—it’s about coming together as an industry to enhance safety, boost operational efficiency, and elevate the workforce. The move reinforces ACP and CPI’s role in building a stronger, safer, and more skilled clean energy sector.
