Immersion mood! Let's go!

This weekend, I’m welcoming two students for a VIP English immersion in DC, and I’m genuinely looking forward to it. I’m going over every detail now, thinking about where real English will show up naturally throughout the day, because that’s where things actually shift.

This immersion is part of my program *Become Your English Self*. It’s not about studying the language, it’s about living it, making decisions in it, and building the kind of confidence that holds up in real situations, not just in class.

🇺🇸: When the daylight savings ended, clocks in most of the US rolled back an hour, bringing in months of early sunsets. 🌇

When this happens, a general feeling of apprehension can come with shorter days. Also known as “seasonal affective desorder” (SAD).

To make this moment a little more bearable, here are some tips that have help me a lot. 🥰

⚠️: If SAD is troubling you or your symptoms worsen, you should not hesitate to talk to a doctor.



🇧🇷: Com o fim do horário de verão, os relógios na maior parte dos Estados Unidos atrasaram uma hora, anunciando meses de pôr-do-sol precoce. 🌇

Assim, um sentimento geral de apreensão pode vir com dias mais curtos. Também conhecido como “seasonal depression”.

Para tornar esse momento um pouco mais acolhedor, aqui vão algumas dicas que me ajudam muito. 🥰
