Another Weekend Update:
Congratulations to the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society (ADRHS) who hosted the ABA Negotiation Regional Competition on November 12 and 13! Twenty-four teams competed, four of which progressed to the final round (one of which was from WCL)!
Congratulations to University of Georgia and Fordham University who have moved on to the ABA Negotiation National Competition!🥳

Weekend Update:
Congratulations to MTHS members Nicolle Sayers and Nicole Cortina. This past weekend, both advocates competed in the Fordham-Judge Paul Joseph Kelly Jr. Trial Competition and after four days of competition they made it all the way to the semi-finals. 🥳
Additional shoutout to Nicole Cortina for winning Best Closing Argument during the Preliminary rounds!

WCL's ADRHS will be hosting the ABA Regional Negotiation Competition this year via zoom. The Advocacy Program is still looking for judges who can serve on Friday, November 12.

Congratulations to the MTHS Golden Gate University's In Vino Veritas National Trial Competition Team for finishing as semi-finalists this past weekend! The team of Eryka Jones, Kaitlyn Wallace, Veronica Franco-Salazar, and Ben Reyes were undefeated as they entered the semi-finals, and Ben Reyes won best opening statement! This makes five individual awards won by MTHS students this fall!

Big shoutout to the MCHS for hosting the 27th Annual Burton D. Wechsler National First Amendment Moot Court Competition this past weekend! Thank you to MCHS tournament directors Lizzie June and Shahnoor Khan as well as MCHS President and Vice President Sarah Hadden and Franny Krupkin for running a smooth and successful virtual competition.
There were 24 teams from all over the country competing with UC Hastings and Fordham making it to the finals. In the end the panel voted for UC Hastings as the 2021 champion! Congratulations to UC Hastings🥳

Good Luck to ADRHS members Grace Fraser, Miles Moore, and Kane Smith who will be competing this weekend in the St. John’s/FINRA 2021 Securities Dispute Resolution Triathlon. Over the course of the weekend, they will compete in a round of Negotiation, a round of Mediation, and a full Arbitration! We know they're going to do great!
