Staff Flower Club is the FFA’s newest program led by the Greenhouse Management Class and designed to give students hands-on experience in the floral industry. Thank you to the Robin’s Nest in Jeffersonville for assisting in getting this project started.

💐 Fresh Blooms Bring Bright Smiles!

Our FFA Greenhouse students are learning the art of floral design and sharpening their skills through the Staff Flower Club. Each month, they create and deliver beautiful arrangements to brighten classrooms and office spaces across the district.

FFA members hosted 3rd, 4th & 5th graders at the annual FFA Fall Harvest Day on Thursday, October 16th. Elementary students rotated through 6 hands-on learning stations around the high school outdoor learning lab.

Petting animals, enjoying “soil” pudding, playing tractor bingo, and pumpkin ring toss were just a few of the activities that FFA members facilitated.

Members of the Miami Trace Great Oaks FFA visited the Ohio Capital today to attend the Ohio FFA Legislative Leadership Conference. Members learned from Ohio Farm Bureau the importance to communicating with our legislators about issues that are important to agriculture. Members in attendance include Elyse Day, Ella McCarty, and Clayden Hooks (front to back).

Help us congratulate Eric Taylor on being named a national proficiency finalist in the area of Nursery Operations. He will compete for the national title at National FFA Convention in October.

Eric is a 2025 graduate of Miami Trace. His supervised agriculture experience SAE involves working for Regan’s Greenhouse at the Farm where he has gained extensive knowledge in greenhouse and plant production.
