Our doors have been open for almost 50 years, but now we are officially saying goodbye to WNS 😢

Washburn Library will be using our space as their building is renovated, which means we have lots of things that need to go!
We first spread the word to our local elementary teachers, but now we will open the doors to everyone else. There are a few things the library will use during their time here, but everything else has to go. Lots of toys and early learning tools, shelving, art and school supplies and so many books!
All we ask is for you to make a donation for whatever you take. Proceeds will go to a local cause!
If you see this right away, someone will be in the classroom until 7 so you can browse and purchase. If not, we hope to see you next week!

Today is the day!! Come out and join the Washburn Nursery School to see all the fun things we have in store for the new year. Classroom will be open to come take a peek. This is open to the entire community, former students and new students!! We would love to have you!! Ice cream truck will be there from 5pm-8pm. See you all tonight!!!

Boxes are going out this morning. Come out and drop your change and help crown the next Nursery school royalty!! All proceeds go directly back the program! Thank you for your consent support!! Winner will ve announce on Friday evening, August 15th on the festival stage.

Our Ice Cream Social is only 2 weeks away!
Ms Heather has been working hard to get the classroom ready for Back To School and we want you all to see it!
Come visit and grab some ice cream from our friends at Sweet Girl Treats ice cream truck!
This gives our new students a chance to take a look at their new classroom and our returning students a reminder that school is on the way!!

Just want to clear up any confusion, the students that are eligible for this year Prince and Princess contest for the festival is the students I had this past school year, that are moving onto kindergarten. Im sorry if this has confused anyone.

**2024-2025 PreK parents**

Good evening everyone!! I hope you all are having the best summer ever. Im touching base with all of you because I'm starting to organize stuff for the Washburn festival.
Every year we have our students participate in the Prince and Princess contest. This is a big moneymaker for us. 2 weeks before the festival weekend, I will set boxes out at the businesses in town with your child's picture and name for people to vote. Every $1.00 is a vote. Which ever boy and girl has the highest amount will win. 100% processed go to the program.
The obligation consists of Friday night, you will meet me at the stage and the students will go on stage with me, I will ask them a few questions and then we will crown the winners. Each student will get a goodie bag so no one is left out. Saturday they will meet me at the high school and ride on the nursery school float with me in the town parade.
If you are interested in your student participating, please let me know and send or get me a picture that I can copy for the boxes. The deadline to get pictures to me will be no later than Monday, July 28th. That will give me time to get pictures copied and boxes decorated. I will drop boxes off at businesses on Friday August 1st.
