💛💙 Congratulations to our gymnastics team on being named the Section 2A Academic Champions by the MGGCA for the 2nd consecutive year!!!! 💛💙

The 2025–2026 Waseca Gymnastics season was defined by consistency, depth, and heart. Our team of 13 gymnasts represented four different schools, and with the addition of six seventh graders, we were able to field a full JV squad this year, a huge step forward for our program. In my ten years as head coach at Waseca, this is one of the most hard-working teams I’ve had the privilege to coach. These athletes showed up to every practice and every meet ready to give their best and support one another. Their commitment and teamwork led to remarkable consistency, as we averaged 130 points per meet throughout the season. With strong leadership from captains Katelyn Weber and Hannah Parks, the team continually pushed themselves to learn new skills, break personal records, and gain new skills on every event.This season, we earned our highest team score in the past ten years — an incredible 135.425! And senior Layla Keith set a new school record on floor with a 9.6.
