Parents: here’s what a week at NextPlay looks like.

Private sessions, small groups, and coaches who played the game at the college level. ⚽️

Every session is built around one question: what does this player need most right now?

Swipe through, then send us a DM with any questions. A coach will answer. 🙌

Player Spotlight: Avery Flynn, North Kingstown

Avery has been putting in the work with Coach Dan since February 2025.

The focus this fall: First touch and ball mastery ✨

We asked what’s changed: “Confidence in 1v1 matchups”

Proud of you Avery! The Work Always Wins. 🙌

Tag a teammate who works like this.

Midfielders, save this one. ⬇️

1. Scan before the ball arrives. Check your shoulder twice so you already know your next pass.

2. Receive on your back foot. Open your hips and let your
first touch take you forward.

3. Play in two touches. One to set, one to play.

None of it takes talent. It takes reps.

The Work Always Wins. 💪

Follow NextPlay for a new tip every Monday.
