A wild day of learning at Roger Williams Daycare! 🐾🦁🐒🦉

Today, October 8, we kicked off our first Zoomobile visit sponsored by at Roger Williams Daycare in Providence! 🎉

Students had the chance to meet some incredible animal ambassadors, including Velcro the Madagascar hissing cockroach, Lou the ball python, and Paris the eastern box turtle! 🪳🐍🐢 The visit gave children a fun, hands-on opportunity to explore the animal world, ask questions, and learn about these unique creatures. 🌎💚

We’re so excited to bring experiences like this directly to early childhood programs and help make learning even more engaging!

💙 BrightStars is a program of the Rhode Island Association for the Education of Young Children (RIAEYC), funded through the Rhode Island Department of Human Services (RI DHS).

DHS is pleased to announce that CCAP certification has now been extended from 12 to 24 months. New applicants and those recertifying will receive specific updates upon DHS review and notification. This additional time should serve to create a simpler process for providers and added convenience, while creating greater child care stability for families. Learn more about CCAP here.
