Hello Broadway, CCRI Production Staff:

A totally endowed musical theater program at the Community College of Rhode Island. The workshop and performance experience is to prepare and perform a musical review, drawing from old and new musicals. Open to all college students. Each student in the cast represents approximately $1,000.00 in endowed tuition if they each had to pay for the experience!

2015 Shows will be all held at CCRI’s Knight (Warwick) Campus and are:
-Friday, June 12th 2:00pm & 8:00pm shows
-Saturday, June 13th 8:00pm show
-Sunday, June 14th 2:00pm show

Funding is partly from student government through the Music Club and partly from private donors. Consider becoming a donor for "Hello Broadway!" to help further musical theater for young performers. It is with a good deal of deliberation that I share with you our decision NOT to produce “Hello Broadway!” this year at CCRI. We on the production staff came to this decision largely because of complications arising from Carol’s Lyme Disease. For those of you that do not know, Carol was officially diagnosed 5 years ago, however, doctors estimate that she has had it for a very long time. As a result, I strongly feel that we need to take some time to address healing with this very complicated disease.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to ALL of you that either contributed your talents, time and energy OR were a faithful audience member/ donor. We have many wonderful memories of great shows that we shared over 11 years of performances! We couldn’t have done any of it without all of you. Let’s consider this a pause for now….
