Today we celebrate 246 years of the U.S. Marine Corps! We honor those Marines who bravely served and continue to serve our country.

The VFW Auxiliary is pleased to present scholarships to assist members and their immediate family members who wish to further their education by pursing a college degree or career direction at a vocational/technical school. Four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded each year, one in each of the four VFW Auxiliary Conferences.

Who is Eligible to Apply?

Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.
Applicant must be one of the following:
Current VFW Auxiliary Member*
Spouse of current VFW Auxiliary Member*
Son of current VFW Auxiliary Member*
Daughter of current VFW Auxiliary Member*
*Qualifying member must have been a member of the VFW Auxiliary for one (1) year by the application submission deadline.

Don't forget to stop by this week at the Warwick and Lincoln Campus Veteran Services office when it is open to grab candy, families more than welcome to stop by as well.

Today is National Day of the Deployed. We honor and celebrate those who are deployed, have been deployed, or sacrificed their lives while deployed in service of the U.S. Armed Forces around the globe.

Today we celebrate 246 years of the U.S. Navy! We honor those who have served and continue to serve our country. The Navy was formed October 13, 1775 by a resolution of the Continental Congress.

Today is Indigenous People’s Day! We honor and celebrate Native American and Indigenous cultures and heritage.

Raytheon Missiles and Defense, a Raytheon Technologies business, and SVA award two $10,000 scholarships annually to U.S. Army student veterans. Who demonstrate a commitment to and passion for their chosen field of study, as well as demonstrating leadership and engagement within their community.
