Update! I ran into Henry yesterday and he told me that he did end up booking the wedding and it was a huge event and he made lots of money!!! Great job Henry!!!

Another very cool thing that I witnessed at the fair that I must share!

Henry of “Nephew Henry’s Smoothies” met with some potential customers at the fair for a special tasting. I found out that this woman works at a local store and had gotten to know Henry and his mother and heard all about nephew Henry’s smoothie business and she asked if it would be possible for Henry to set up and do a smoothie bar at her upcoming wedding!

I haven’t heard if they’ve worked out a deal yet, but the couple came to the fair to do their preliminary tasting and talk about some details with Henry!

How cool is this?! He may be booking a wedding and he’s only 13 years old!!

And what an amazing couple to consider hiring a young entrepreneur to be part of their wedding, such a special event for them!

Wishing them all the best 💕

This young entrepreneur has been with WCBF since day one! She created her business 3 years ago and set a goal that she wanted a puppy. She made in agreement with her parents and has worked to grow her business, attended many events, modified her products, created new products and reached her goal!

Great job Elaina!

Peaches Boutique is still going strong and will be set up selling at old Home day in Warwick, Massachusetts this Saturday!
Stop by you might even get to see the new puppy 😉 🐾💕

Last but certainly not least I need to spotlight my son, Evan! Evan is the reason for these fairs. There would not be a Warwick children’s business fair if not for this guy!! He has always been money motivated and when he wants something he works for it. Years ago, he had a business making flower arrangements he would sell them on the side of the road in front of our house and even had a deal worked out with the corner Café in Orange, where he would bring flower arrangements in and put them on their tables for sale weekly. He was probably 6 or7 at the time. About four years ago, Pure Eats Artisan Treats was born! Evan was saving up for a Nintendo switch and he came up with this business and some very unique gluten-free items to sell. We actually signed up for another a children’s business fair in the area that was canceled at the last minute. We were super disappointed because he already had hundreds of dollars invested and all of his products made. But I taught him to adapt and overcome, and we reached out to our community and he was able to have a few different pop-up sales that weekend and sell out of all of his products! He made enough money to buy that Nintendo switch!

After that experience, I started thinking about doing my own fair…. I knew that it would be a big undertaking because I’m a “go big or go home kind of person” but I saw how much Evan grew and learned from that experience and I knew that I had to do it! That is how the first WCBF fair in 2024 was born!

Somewhere around this time, Evan decided that he wanted to build a clubhouse, but he priced out the lumber and realized that lumber was outrageous and he found out that it was actually cheaper to buy a camper so he set that goal and after selling at multiple events, he raised enough money to buy himself a camper! yes there is a thirtyish Foot travel trailer in my backyard that is decked out with a TV and all kinds of cool stuff that is his man cave😆

His products have evolved and some have changed over the years, but his staple items are his phenomenal jumbo brown butter rice crispy treats, and his absolutely delicious gluten-free chocolate chip cookies !! He started dabbling with freeze dried candy after we purchased a freeze dryer for our family a couple of years ago and he soon realized that freeze dried candy was a fantastic novelty item that lots of people loved so this year he incorporated a lot more freeze dried candy into his offerings.

he did so well at the fair this year he sold out of just about everything! Actually, when we were cleaning up, I received a Facebook message from someone who had come to the fair, when she got home, her teenage son who didn’t come to the fair was bummed that he didn’t get the freeze dried skittles and he wanted to buy whatever Evan had left for his high school baseball team! This one person purchased 35 bags of freeze dried skittles! We delivered that night.

The community support for this event has been absolutely amazing and while I will admit it is exhausting and at times I want to quit it is one of the most fulfilling things I’ve ever done and it’s all because of this 14-year-old! 💕
* don’t tell him you saw this post. He’ll be mad at me and embarrassed, but I’m Mom and I can brag about him if I want to 😜

Evora! This was Evora’s second WCBF and she rocked it! Her business is named Fox Trot! She had so many amazing unique items for sale, truly a little bit of everything! She even has eggs
For sale form her own flock! I’ve seen Evora out in the community at other events with her business and she is killing it! A natural born businesswoman! 💕

You know how sometimes two friends are just two little peas in a pod and you can feel the vibe and that they’re on the same wavelength? That was Clara and Winona! These two girls cracked me up! They were so cool…. I was never that cool at that age. Heck I’m not even that cool now😆

somehow I forgot to take a picture of Winona at her table, but I did get a picture of her table. Her business was hobgoblins trinkets! What a cool name right?! This was her first WCBF and she did amazing!
I bought a sticker from her that said “ I’m a menace” … I don’t know if I am or not, but I’d like to think I could be 😆

Clara of feathers & scales has participated three years in a row now ! Clara also participates in lots of other events in the community. I’ve seen her at holiday events and at our towns old home day selling her crafts! My daughter bought a beautiful necklace from her!

These girls are two of my favorite little redhead!!

They have both participated in all three Warwick children’s business fairs !!!

Mallory of molds to magic by Mallory has had a different business for each event and I love that !!! She has played around with different things to see what works best and everything she brings to the table is amazing! The first year she sold hot cocoa bombs, and bath bombs, the second year she sold sleep related items such as aromatherapy room sprays , Dreamcatcher and hand made pillows… This year it was resin art!!! Everything this girl produces is pure magic!! She is super talented!!

Raven of Birdy’s boutique has had her business evolve over the years, but it is mainly items that she has sew! This year she made these adorable little zipper pouches, rice packs, and a few tote bags! Everything she made was absolutely beautiful!

Great job ladies !!!!

These three are good buddies and I’m so glad they were all able to participate this year!!

River of River’s 3-D designs has participated in all 3WCBF events! He makes some amazing 3-D printed items!
I use the phone holder that I bought from him last year almost every day and this year I bought a new fruit fly trap from him!

Walden and Beatrix have come out to support River at the last two fairs and this year they decided to participate as well and I’m so excited that they did!!

Walden of peace and plants, had some amazing plants! And he was very helpful when I was trying to choose one. I had to be honest and tell him that I needed a plant that I could neglect because I was probably going forget to water it and he knew right away which plant I should get! I can’t wait to see how my mother of millions plant grows! I’ve never had one so let’s see if I can keep it alive😆

Beatrix named her business, cosmic soap, and she had adorable little soaps. My favorite part about her soaps is that they were unscented!!! I am super sensitive to fragrance, especially artificial fragrance, and it was nice to know that I could buy her soap and not have a reaction or get a headache! Great job, Beatrix! I bought the surprise soap so eventually once we have used it up a little toy will pop out of the inside! How
Fun!! 😆💕

These two amazing teens were new to the fair this year! I met them both a couple of months ago when I was at an event at LaunchSpace in Orange. I was there for the midyear celebration for their discovery program that my son is a part of. My friend Kelly introduced me to Brooklyn and I knew right away she would be a perfect fit for the WCBF!! Brooklyn has a business called Bucklin’s Art, and she handmade all of these beautiful clay and sewn items! She is super talented!!!

Anthony is also part of the launch space program and he is an amazing leather worker! I was trying not to be a complete weirdo and approached random children at this event, but I knew right away that these kids needed to be part of WCBF so thankfully, my friend Kelly was able to connect me to both of them And their parents 😆

Anthony’s business is TraiLBound Leathercraft and he makes all of these items by hand!

Two extremely talented teens !!! it was a pleasure to have them both at the fair!

Speaking of Launch space, they have some amazing programs over there for teens and adults!
Three of our judges were from launch space this year, and it was a pleasure to have them !!
