BIG NEWS FROM HARI VIDYA BHAVAN!
Tomorrow, our students will walk into class and receive something brand new—a complete, thoughtfully designed Hindi learning system, built from the ground up right here in our community.
And the person who envisioned, developed, and almost single-handedly brought this massive project is Rakhi Rai, our Program In-Charge. 🌟
This wasn’t a small update—it was a complete transformation of our Hindi language program. Rakhi:
• Rebuilt our entire Hindi curriculum from the ground up
• Redesigned our class structure into four progressive levels—Gomti • Kaveri • Narmada • Krishna—with two years of learning within each level
• Created comprehensive Teacher Handbooks, including detailed lesson plans for every class
• Developed PDFs and PowerPoint presentations for the entire year’s curriculum across all four levels
• Created Student Handbooks for every child
• Developed Flashcards & Games packs—laminated and ready for interactive learning
• Launched a Digital Hub so students can listen, practice, and continue learning Hindi at home
• And then printed, bound, assembled, and laminated stacks and stacks of materials!
Countless hours. Late nights. Weekends. Thousands of pages. Every lesson and every page reviewed with incredible care and attention to detail.
This is what passion and dedication look like.
Rakhi Rai didn’t simply create course materials—she has given our children a whole new way to learn and fall in love with Hindi through joy, play, interaction, and purpose, while strengthening their connection to their language, culture, and heritage.
Rakhi Rai, on behalf of every student, parent, teacher, and volunteer at HARI—THANK YOU!
You have set a new standard for HARI Vidya Bhavan, and the impact of your hard work will benefit our students for years to come.
The new materials will be distributed tomorrow, Sunday, October 4, during class. Our remote students will receive their materials by mail.

Our hearts are full after witnessing the incredible Holi Celebration put on by our talented students! 🌈 It was more than just a festival; it was a beautiful showcase of heritage, hard work, and the vibrant "Hindi Talent" we foster here every day. From our littlest learners to our senior students, the stage came alive..Seeing the children transition from hesitant speakers to confident performers on stage is the greatest gift of Hari School.Their dedication to preserving our heritage through language is what makes Hari School so special."The most touching moments were hearing the kids express, in their own words, what learning their mother tongue means to them.Watching our children embrace their roots with such pride is exactly why we do what we do. Thank you to all the parents and teachers who supported these young stars!

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Dr. Anjali Ram, who served as the HARI School Cultural Coordinator for over a decade. A guiding light in our community, she was a driving force behind the development of our cultural curriculum and a devoted, selfless volunteer. With warmth, grace, and deep commitment, Anjali touched many lives and left a lasting, positive imprint on our students, families, and community.
With hearts both broken and blessed, we remember her not only for what she gave, but for how she made people feel—seen, valued, and inspired. We are planning a service to celebrate her life in the near future, once the date is finalized with her family. We invite you to join us in praying for peace for her soul and strength and comfort for her family during this difficult time. Om Shanti. 🙏💐
