Yesterday my colleagues and I attended Toll Gate's and Pilgrim's graduation ceremonies. The accomplishments of these students is nothing short of impressive.
My wish for all graduates is that they find 'the tassle was worth the hassle'.

Warwick schools wonder where they'll display tennis championship trophy
Two schools with not much tennis history combined to make some this spring as Warwick defeated Providence Country Day to win the D-III title.

Congratulations to Pilgrim High School freshman Anthony Angevine on an incredible achievement in being crowned the #1 State Freshman Hammer Throw Champion! 🏆
Anthony’s dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence have already placed him among the very best freshman in the nation. This outstanding accomplishment is a tremendous source of pride for the entire Pilgrim community, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for this exceptional student-athlete.

Last night I attended Pilgrim's Awards Ceremony.
Dozens of students received the Seal of Biliteracy,
Commissioners Seal, and the Pathway Endorsement Seal.
Students heading to Brown University, Wentworth Institute of Technology, and other great schools.
Eight students awarded $20,000 Picerne Family Foundation Scholarships.
Over $175,000 in scholarships awarded last night.
Well done, Patriots, well done!

Tonight I attended Norwood Elementary School's play The Lion King with my colleague Leah Hazelwood, Warwick School Committee and Frank Picozzi.
The students were great! The Arts are alive and well in our Warwick Public Schools !!
