Congratulations to Toll Gate senior Kevin Barker on his selection to the Projo's 2026 First Team All-State Boys Track & Field Team for the Triple Jump!
Toll Gate, Senior, triple jump
Barker did the bulk of the scoring for the Titans at the state meet thanks to his gold medal in the triple jump. He bested the field by nearly a foot while putting Toll Gate on the podium’s top step at Brown Stadium.

Congratulations to Toll Gate's Vanessa Jones and Pilgrim's Lia Wasilewski on their selections to the ProJo's 2026 First Team All-State Girls Track & Field Team!
Vanessa Jones
Toll Gate, Senior, discus
Jones wrapped up a strong high school career in the throws with a final gold in the discus at Brown Stadium. She won by more than six feet while delivering the Titans 10 of their 14 team points. Jones will continue her career in the fall at Vanderbilt.
Lia Wasilewski
Pilgrim, Junior, Javelin
Wasilewski posted one of the state meet’s most impressive victories, outclassing the field in the javelin just outside Brown Stadium. Her distance of 135-6 was nearly 17 feet better than her peers, delivering Wasilewski what looked on paper like one of the day’s most routine gold medals.
Also, congrats to Pilgrim freshman Aubrey Jarvis on her selection to Second Team All-State for the 800 meters!

Congratulations to Pilgrim's Skylar Hawes on her selection to the ProJo's 2026 First Team All-State Softball team!
From the Projo:
"The state’s most complete outfielder, Hawes more than earned a return appearance as a First Team All-State selection. Hawes’ athleticism showed every game as she manned center field, but her bat was made her a frequent choice for an intentional walk. The junior hit .352 this spring with eight home runs, drove in 20 runs and scored 20. Expect a big season from Hawes during her senior season in 2027."
