⚔️PLAYERS OF THE MONTH⚔️
As we close out September and our Knights work hard for each win, we are selecting an athlete from each team to highlight for their skill, dedication, and perseverance.
🏐Delaila Calderon, one of CCRI Volleyball’s two captains, sets the standard for leadership and on-court performance. Her outstanding communication skills and sharp court awareness make her an invaluable asset to her teammates, while her relentless work ethic inspires those around her. Delaila’s ability to remain focused under pressure consistently elevates her game. This season, she has played 24 sets, recording 50 kills, 44 digs, and accumulating an impressive 64 points.
⚽️Cristiano Rodrigues joined CCRI and immediately made his presence felt, quickly becoming a standout player on the soccer field. Known for his creativity with the ball and his powerful, precise shots, Cristiano consistently elevates his team’s performance. This season, he has already tallied five goals and two assists, including a remarkable two-goal performance against the Quinsigamond Wyverns in the last game of September.
