Today, Toll Gate High School students had a fantastic opportunity to explore their futures at a College Fair organized by the Toll Gate Guidance Department!

Students connected with representatives from colleges and universities, asked questions, explored programs and career pathways, and began thinking about the many opportunities available to them after high school.

A huge thank-you to our Toll Gate Guidance Department for organizing this important event and helping our students navigate the college and career planning process. We also appreciate all of the college representatives who took the time to meet with our students.

At Toll Gate, we are committed to helping every student discover their interests, explore their options, and prepare for their next chapter.

⚽️💜 A Night of Soccer, Community & Sepsis Awareness 💜⚽️

What a great night on the soccer field! Last night’s Toll Gate boys soccer game was about so much more than the game itself. It was an opportunity for our school community to come together in support of Gianna Cirella and to raise awareness about sepsis.

The energy, support, and sense of community throughout the evening were truly special. Our players competed with pride, our families and fans showed up in a big way, and together we demonstrated what it means to support one another both on and off the field. Most importantly, the evening helped shine a light on sepsis awareness and the importance of recognizing the signs and acting quickly.

Thank you to our boys soccer players, coaches, families, students, staff, and everyone who helped make this meaningful evening possible. 💜

💜⚽️ For Gianna. For Sepsis Awareness. For Our Community. ⚽️

Norwood School is proud to announce that it has been selected as a Special Olympics Unified Champion School through the Special Olympics North America National Recognition Program.

This national recognition celebrates schools that are committed to creating socially inclusive school communities where all students are welcomed, valued, and given opportunities to learn, lead, connect, and participate together.

“This recognition is about so much more than a banner or an award,” said Dawn Manchester, Principal of Norwood School. “It reflects who we want to be as a school community. We believe every student belongs, every student has something to contribute, and every student should have opportunities to experience connection, friendship, leadership, and success. We are incredibly proud of the work our students and staff are doing to build a school where inclusion is not just something we talk about—it is something we live. We are lucky to have a committed staff and volunteers who work effortlessly to make these events happen!"

Through the Unified Champion Schools program, Norwood is working to foster a school culture grounded in inclusion, acceptance, respect, and belonging. The program brings students with and without intellectual disabilities together through inclusive activities, leadership opportunities, and schoolwide efforts that promote meaningful connections.

Norwood School participates in Pay to Pour, Unified Basketball, Awareness Week, and other inclusive events throughout the year. Keep a look out for information about their celebration and scheduled events throughout the year.
