September may be National Preparedness Month, but being prepared is a year-round effort.

As the seasons change, so do the risks facing Tennessee farms, families, and rural communities. From extreme heat to severe storms and flooding, wildfire, and winter weather, every season brings different challenges.

As comes to a close, take time to look ahead. Think about the hazards each season may bring, make a plan, and take small steps now that can make a big difference when an emergency happens.
