Kosciusko County Head Start / Early Head Start

Kosciusko County Head Start / Early Head Start KCHS is an income-based preschool, providing services to children ages 3-5 in Kosciusko County, Indiana. KCHS is a division of Cardinal Services, Inc.

Kosciusko County Head Start provides preschool services throughout the county with sites in Warsaw, Mentone, Madison Elementary, Lincoln Elementary, and Claypool Elementary. A 7 hour school day will be provided in our classroom settings. Teachers will promote early childhood education by offering children learning experiences to enhance school readiness goals in social/emotional, cognitive, physic

al, and language developmental areas. The Early Head Start Program services children from birth to age three, including prenatal services for expecting mothers. The EHS Program is completely home-based, offering in-home services for an hour and a half each week. EHS teachers will provide learning opportunities for both children and families in the home setting. Child will work on skills in cognitive, social/emotional, and language developmental areas.
