8th grade Reading Skills students put their helmet designs to the test. They dropped them four different heights, ranging from 1 foot to 10 feet tall. They assessed their egg/brain after each drop to see if their helmet design protected it or not. Those who survived all four drops then had a final challenge: a 20 foot drop. Only one egg/brain survived!

Happy ! Today, we’re excited to spotlight Anissa Justice, Blind/Low Vision Liaison, for and making a difference here at WCS!

Anissa was nominated by Emily Gough, who shared how hard Anissa works behind the scenes to prepare materials for students who are blind or have visual impairments, including finding creative ways to make math and science graphs accessible. She’s also always willing to step in and support the front office staff wherever she’s needed.

Thank you, Anissa! We're so grateful for all that you do at WCS!
