Dr. Boyd week of March 18-20
Regular Health/PE - Announcements will still be posted in Canvas weekly!
Wednesday - March 18 - e-learning Health: Check in on e-learning slide for me and answer the question. Canvas/Assignments/Setting Goals - Vision Board. You will have several sessions to work on this - not due until March 25. You can email me at anytime if you have questions about any of the assignments that I will be posting. I will have an open google hangout if you want a face to face conversation..I will write to you about those hours (email) or arrange it on the spot with you.
Friday - March 20 - e-learning Physical Education:
You will create a physical education journal of your physical activity. Students will engage in activities of their choosing for 30 minutes three days a week. Students will record the activity and time in an activity log that will be signed by a parent or another responsible adult and then submitted to the teacher upon their return to school. I will provide weekly choices of workout videos if you would prefer to participate in those with brothers, sisters, mom, or dad! An example of a workout template will be posted on Canvas for your convenience and I will upload video choices for you there as well in Canvas/Assignments/Workout Choices. Remember: You do not have to do the videos...you may choose what activities work best for you. I encourage you to go outside and walk, run, and enjoy some fresh air and sunshine. The videos are just options that you can do inside in a space at your home if you are practicing social distancing. I want all of you to be safe, stay well, and continue to learn.

Wednesday - March 18 - e-learning Health: Check in on e-learning slide for me and answer the question.
Now you can really buckle down on research and preparing your Pecha Kucha. Remember a Pecha Kucha is all about images. You will create your Pecha Kucha in google slides. You have the examples that you were sent earlier! The first slide needs to have an eye catching image that grabs the audience's attention. It remains on for 20 seconds - so it needs to be one heck of an image or split the screen and put two images on. Your presentation with the first image needs to be submitted no later than Friday 3:00pm. Share to edit to my email..when you are ready for me to check it. This way I will have your presentation in my drive and I can make comments on it for you. No words on the picture, but click to add speaker notes...write down what you would say with this slide...You have 20 seconds.
Picture should be cited (small in the bottom right corner). You can use pictures from any source cited correctly. I will provide some great places where you can get free copyright photos. You can email me at anytime if you have questions about any of the assignments that I will be posting. I will have an open google hangout if you want a face to face conversation..I will write to you about those hours (email) or arrange it on the spot with you. We will be working on this throughout the e-learning period. This is your chance to get it done ahead of presentation schedule. I will post that later next week!
