Harrison Is Leading the Way! 🐾💜💛

At Harrison, we believe in developing leaders from K–6, and that starts with knowing who we are and where we want to go! 🌟

Every classroom at Harrison has created its very own Classroom Mission Statement! These mission statements connect to Habit 2: Begin With the End in Mind and our Leader in Me compass.

A mission statement helps define our core values, goals, and the character we want to develop. Each classroom worked together to create a statement that represents who they are as a classroom community.

Students recite their mission statement daily, and you can find them posted both inside and outside the classroom as a reminder of what they stand for and the leaders they are becoming.

We are so proud of our Huskies for putting our leadership habits into action each and every day! 💜💛

It may not be Tiger Tuesday today... but it’s the perfect Tuesday to get your nominations in!

This year, we’re excited to partner with United Way to make Tiger Tuesday recognition even more special! EACH Tiger Tuesday honoree will receive a $100 Chamber Kosciusko Cash gift card from United Way!

On top of that- every nomination matters! Each quarter, nominees who weren’t selected for a Tiger Tuesday spotlight will be entered into a special drawing for another smaller gift card!

Hi, my name is Finley Brown, and I’m a senior at Warsaw Community High School! We are so excited to have Finley joining the Harrison family as a paraprofessional this school year. 💜💛

We are so excited to welcome Logan Kim to the Harrison family! Logan has already been an amazing paraprofessional, and we are so happy to have him on our team!

A little about Logan: He is a 2026 graduate of Warsaw Community High School, where he participated in baseball all four years. In his free time, Logan enjoys golfing and fishing.

Logan is especially excited to be at Harrison because it was his elementary school! He is currently enrolled at Indiana Wesleyan University, pursuing his education degree.

We are thrilled to welcome Kerry Hidlebaugh to the Harrison family!

Hi there! My name is Kerry Hidlebaugh, and I am Harrison's new Mental Health Therapist (MHT). In addition to Harrison, I also service students at Claypool and Eisenhower. Prior to becoming a counselor, I was a Reading and Language Arts teacher for 12 years. Although I have worked with students on all grade levels, I'm quite excited to be back to elementary shenanigans (we have the MOST fun)! This will be my 17th year as an educator. When I'm not at school, I love to read, garden, travel, and spend time with my family. I look forward to supporting Harrison's students and families!

We are so excited to welcome our returning and new Huskies into our building! 💜💛🐾

Join us this Thursday for Open House & Meet the Teacher! Doors open at 4:30 PM, and you’re welcome to stop by anytime until 6:00 PM.

Come meet your child’s teacher, see their classroom, and drop off school supplies before the first day of school. We can’t wait to see all of our Husky families and kick off an amazing school year together!

🎉 Welcome Morgan Bradley to the Harrison family! 💜💛

We’re so excited to welcome Morgan as our new Head Custodian! While she’s new to Harrison, she’s definitely not new to Warsaw Community Schools.

Morgan spent part of her childhood in Warsaw, attending Leesburg Elementary and Lakeview Middle School before moving to New Hampshire. She returned to Warsaw in 2007 after her husband accepted a position at Zimmer. They have been married for 20 years and have one daughter who recently graduated from WCHS and will be heading off to college in just a few weeks!

Morgan earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Services Management from Indiana Tech. After becoming a mom, she stayed home and homeschooled her daughter through 6th grade. She later joined Warsaw Community Schools as a Cafeteria Manager, a role she held until this summer when she became Harrison’s Head Custodian. This school year marks her 7th year with WCS!

When she’s not at work, Morgan enjoys tackling DIY home projects and spending time with her family and pets.
