Today in Biology 1, WCHS students became scientists for the day!
Students tested different food samples to investigate which biomolecules were present—including starch, proteins, and lipids.
Instead of simply being told what was in each food, students used chemical tests, observations, and evidence to make their own conclusions.
Students practiced an important scientific skill:
Test → Observe → Analyze → Use Evidence → Draw Conclusions
The best part was the mystery food challenge, where students had to use their test results to determine which biomolecules were present in an unknown sample!
It was wonderful to see students collaborating, making predictions, carefully recording observations, and thinking like real scientists.

Principles of Broadcasting provides entry-level fundamental skills for students who wish to seek or pursue opportunities in the field of broadcasting or mass media. Students explore the technical aspects of audio and sound design for radio production and distribution, as well as, the technical aspects of video production and distribution. Students get hands-on experience in producing our school's weekly news and running live camera feeds for school events.

This Friday (August 28) is Tiger Football Alumni Night as Warsaw takes on Fort Wayne Northrop at 7 p.m. We’ll celebrate generations of Tiger Football and honor the life and legacy of Coach Ted Huber.

The link can be found on the WCHS website under the Counseling page. It will take you to a real-time scholarship directory for the current school year. It includes scholarships available in the Counseling Office as well as opportunities we’ve found online.
Be sure to check the directory regularly! New scholarships will be added throughout the year as they become available, so the list will continue to grow.

WCHS students can easily connect with their counselor by submitting a “Request to See Counselor” form.
The short Google Form can be accessed in several ways:
Through the app on their iPad
By scanning the QR codes on flyers posted throughout the building
