River View High School Home to over 650 students in grades 7-12 with on average 85 students attending the CCCC.

Serves the River View community set outside Warsaw, OH housing 560 students in grades 9-12. RVHS has been named a Ohio Department of Educaton School of Promise and received the 2104 BFK SOAR Award for High Progress (1 of 3 HS in Ohio)

We had a great turnout this morning for our annual senior sunrise breakfast. We unfortunately had to be inside in the auditorium due to the rainy weather. The Class of 2027 did not let the weather outside deter their excitement for the start of their final year at RVHS. Thank you to those members of the Class of 2027 that joined us this morning to kick of this momentous year for them and their families.

Good morning,

Reminder of morning drop off for students at RVHS for the 2026-2027 school year. This is the same procedure as in previous years. NO CARS in the bus lane in the morning. (Green on the picture) Car riders get dropped off following the orange line. Please follow the line all the way down towards the football field and back around to State Rt 60. Student drivers follow the yellow line to find a parking spot within student parking.

Student Pick-up in PM: Students getting picked up at the end of the school day will exit the building towards the big parking lot. Bus riders will exit the back of the building to get on their respective bus. Staff members will help students get on their buses the first couple of days.

Parking Lot during school hours:
Yellow parking spots - Staff only parking
White parking spots - Student Parking
There are no numbers on parking spots anymore. Students will be given more information about obtaining a parking tag during their class meetings this week.

Wednesday August 19th:
Grades 7-9 only will be in attendance No student in grades 10-12 need to attend school.
Thursday August 20th:
All students in grades 7-12 will report for school. No Senior incentive will be given till approval from Mr. Klein and Mr. Branch

Class Meetings:
7th and 8th grade - August 19th - during the day
9th/10th grade - August 20th - during 1st period (Flex Period)
11th grade - August 21st during 1st Period (Flex Period) - full time RVHS juniors, and CCP juniors need to attend this meeting
12th grade - August 28th - 7:30am 1st period (Flex Period) - Full time RVHS seniors, part time Career center seniors, all CCP seniors.

The last new staff member for the 2026-2027 school year that we are excited to introduce is Mrs. Raylene Thompson. She is a River View graduate and previously worked within the district back in 2009. Mrs. Thompson will be our full time sub this year. We are very happy to have Mrs. Thompson back in our district and look forward to her having a long career here within the RVLSD.

The next new staff member for the 2026-2027 school year that we are excited to introduce is Jennifer Ardrey. Mrs. Ardrey will be teaching Work Based Learning and Mentorship. We will miss having Mrs. Ardrey as our full time sub, but very happy to have Jennifer transition into this role working with juniors and seniors. The next new staff member for the 2026-2027 school year that we are excited to introduce is Gannon Unger . Mr. Unger will be teaching within the Social Studies Department. We are very happy to have Gannon transition from In-School placement teacher last year to a full time Social Studies this year. We look forward to Gannon having a long career here at RVHS.
