Yesterday, we had the opportunity to celebrate our September Staff Member of the Month: Mrs. Lisa Ray. ✨

Staff and students had the following to say about Mrs. Ray:

Mrs. Lisa Ray has been a shining light in our school community, consistently supporting students and staff with kindness, positivity, and dedication. Whether working in classrooms across the district or offering encouragement to those around her, she always goes above and beyond to help others succeed. Her warm smile and caring heart make everyone feel welcome and valued. As she enters a well-deserved retirement, we celebrate the incredible impact she has made and the legacy she leaves behind as a true ray of sunshine.

Mrs. Ray will be retiring at the end of the month.

Grandparents Night at the Book Fair!

We are pleased to announce that our upcoming Volunteer Training is open to anyone interested in becoming a volunteer or attending upcoming field trips.

There is no limit on the number of participants, so we encourage anyone interested to attend.

✨ IMPORTANT: This training is REQUIRED before you can:
* 🚌 Attend any field trips this school year
* 🏫 Help in the classroom
* 💙 Volunteer in other areas of our school

📋 A NEW BACKGROUND CHECK FORM MUST ALSO BE COMPLETED!
The completed form must be turned in to the Central Office in person. Online or emailed forms will not be accepted.

⏰ Training Times:
September 17th, 2026
3:45 PM & 4:30 PM

📍 Location:
Lower Elementary Cafeteria
Please note the updated location. Training will NOT be held in the Upper Elementary FRC Office.

🚗 Parking & Entrance:
Please park in the car pick-up line and enter through the back doors.

📞 Registration is REQUIRED!
There is NO LIMIT on participants, but registration is still required.

What an honor it was to be present when Ms. Liz received her Elementary School Counselor of the Year Award.

She was described as being a beacon of light for the students and community for which she serves. We can’t think of a better way to describe her.
