JCLC 2026-The difference between Day 1 and 2 is dramatic! Companies are formed, mottos created and bonds are building! Cadets days begin at 6 am (or earlier!) and lights go out at 10 pm. In between, there is lots of training and fun. Many activities are judged as one company will earn honors on Day 6! Yesterday’s video shows each company shouting their chant. Who do you think is loudest?

JCLC 2026 at Camp Atterbury, Indiana. Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge officially started on Monday. Cadets left Warsaw Community high school at 6 AM. Upon arrival they got checked in lunch was served from a food truck that said Penske on the side.
😉😉😉. Cadets were all broken up to four companies A B C or D so it is time to make new friends! They formed company mottos and shared ideas for their company guide on. They picked up their sheets from supply and learn the proper way to make their bed complete with hospital corners! At 10 PM it was lights out and they will get started the next morning at 6 AM! I will do my best to post pictures of each of the eight work sockets here every day and missed a few today. What a great experience to be on an actual functioning military base for the week! Share with the cadets families too!

Warsaw JROTC was out supporting our community at Freedom Fest celebrating our country’s 250th anniversary! Cadets are pictured with the nations largest free-flying American flag behind them. It measured 65 ft X 125 ft, larger than a basketball court! Thanks to the organizers of this great community event!

Warsaw Army JROTC cadets took the time this weekend to present our country’s Colors at a community event held at The Historic Barn 1880 in Warsaw.

JROTC Military Ball 2026- Thanks to everyone who made this year‘s military ball so memorable! State trooper and JROTC/WCHS alum gave a great speech. Lake City entertainment kept the dance floor rocking and Angie Howett of AK Photography always keeps us looking at our best! Extra special things to Principal and Mrs Akers for saving the day with their special pizza deliver! And to each and every cadet who helped create this years Military Ball, you are so very appreciated!
