OBITUARY FOR OUR MOM:
Judy Clevenger Dawson was born November 3, 1950 in Camden, Michigan, daughter of Verla Green Clevenger and Stanley J Clevenger.
The family moved from Michigan to the Chicagoland area in 1963.
Judy was a Tinley Park, Illinois High school graduate, class of 1968.
Judy married Ronald Thomsen in December 1969, shortly after, giving birth to a daughter, Laura Ann (Laurie)
In 1979 Judy met and married Dennie (Walter) Dawson and in that union, had 2 children, Joseph and Nicole.
They moved to Warsaw, MO in 1981. Judy sold lake lots at Bent Tree Harbor. She was also owner of The Auto Mart, Warsaw, MO. Judy went on to get her bonding license, and started a successful bonding business in Warsaw, MO., a career that spanned for over 30 years until her battle with Cancer.
Judy is survived by her mother, Verla Clevenger, Frankfort, Illinois,

Judy’s career in the bonding business changed some lives, and saved some.
Judy would always say,
“Its a tough business what I do, but I also get to do Gods work, help people, and save lives, if they want it”
Judy is proceeded in death by her father, Stanley Clevenger (1995) , Dennis Dawson (2003) and Ronald Thomsen (2019)
Judy passed away with family next to her side, on September 22, 2021, at 5:25pm on a full moon. Judy always said,
“I get most of my bonding business on a full moon”
Judy did it her way, fought hard and long until the very end. Judy will be truly missed by many who loved her.
