Congratulations to our 2025 All-County Band Selections! These were selected based on a rigorous audition from nearly 400 total students across Jefferson County.

Announcing our new Director of Bands at Corner Middle School, Mr. Sam Gravlee!

Mr. Gravlee previously served as the Director of Bands at Chilton County High School, where he led the Pride of Chilton County Marching Band, Pep Band, Concert Band, and Beginning Band. Prior to his appointment at CCHS, he served on the music instructional staff at Pizitz Middle School and Simmons Middle School.

Mr. Gravlee is an alumnus of Samford University, earning his degree in Instrumental Music Education. His primary instrument is the bassoon, and he also plays the saxophone. During his time at Samford, he participated in marching band, concert band, orchestra, jazz band, pep band, and various chamber groups.
Mr. Gravlee is excited to join the Corner Band family and will be an outstanding addition to our program! Please give him a warm welcome!
