RN preferred
Nurse should be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with an unencumbered multistate license
Will consider a Licensed Practical Nurse with extensive long term care experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the long-term care industry
Excellent communication skills
Strong customer service skills
MDS certification preferred (RAC-CT)
Extensive knowledge of quality improvement concepts and processes, state and federal regulations for long term care facilities, and the minimum data set.
Experience with electronic medical records, development of plans of corrections and conducting in-services.
Job duties include but not limited to assistance with development of plans of corrections, conducting in-services on topics related to the long-term care industry, analysis of quality measures, chart audits, mock surveys, compliance audits, development of action plans and development of reports on services provided.
Willing to travel up to 97% of time.
Valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle for transportation.
