In 2006, a group of students at Xavier High School in New York City were given an interesting assignment: to write their favorite authors and try to persuade them to visit the school. Kurt Vonnegut was the only author to reply.

Mary Beth is the best! ❤

We had an amazing first week of class and are so looking forward to week two! We have an addition to round out our administrative staff that we are soooo excited about. Introducing our Program Operations Manager, Mary Beth Balint!

Mary Beth, has been busy all Summer getting everything ready for students, families, teachers, and staff. She spent all last week conducting meetings with families, and then led a teacher/staff meeting this weekend. If you have any questions or concerns regarding Allegro logistics, Mary Beth is the place to go!

Today, on World Photography Day, we’re celebrating someone who has a special talent for making all of us look good—our amazing photographer, Mindy Ratcliff! ❤️

Mindy has captured so many of the moments, smiles, performances, and memories that make Allegro special. We’re incredibly grateful for her eye, her talent, and the magic she brings behind the camera.

We had such a great first day back! Our studios were filled with fun lessons, lots of get-to-know-you activities, plenty of laughter, and SO many smiles.
