Youth In Need's Early Head Start and Head Start programs are currently accepting applications for children birth through age 5!

Infant/Toddler (Birth–2): Accepting applications

Our programs provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, play, build friendships, and grow. We also offer nutritious meals, family support, and resources to help families thrive.

Head Start parents and caregivers know firsthand what makes this program work for children and families.

The federal government is considering changes to the Head Start Program Performance Standards through a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM), which gives the public a chance to provide input before changes become final.

These changes could impact health and essential services, staff-to-child ratios, disability supports, eligibility, English language development, and opportunities for parents to lead.
