Monday August 17 begins the new school year lesson schedule!

With the new school year beginning, there is a policy change for missed lessons this year.
Please make sure to read the following:

* If a student is sick or has a conflict the day of their regularly scheduled lesson, they can cancel with reasonable notice and will be offered a make up lesson.

*teacher cancelations: a make up lesson will always be offered to the student.

* All make up lessons: must take place within the same month or within 30 days of the missed lesson.

*No rolling make ups: A missed lesson can not be accumulated or carried indefinitely. It can not be exchanged for a tuition refund or credit toward the next month’s tuition.

*make up lessons that are scheduled do not change the student’s regularly scheduled lesson time.

Many students and families have been asking when I am going to start putting together the school year schedule for 2026/2027. I will be doing so the first week of August, so take a look at your schedules and think about what is going to work for you in terms of your lesson day and times!!  The school year is right around the corner!

Adding another date to the calendar! If your student is interested, there will be an open rehearsal at Warrenton Presbyterian Church on Friday May 29, from 12-2 in the afternoon. You can come by anytime between those hours and rehearse your performance piece if you would like before the big performance on Saturday the 30th!

Poll:
I have had several students express their interest in holding a rehearsal day at the church Friday May 29th, so that they can come in and play their recital pieces before the recital day. If an open rehearsal time was available in the afternoon, would anyone be interested? Meaning you can swing by between afternoon hours to run though your performances….
Just let me know, and if enough people say yes I will set it up for us!
