The Town of Warrenton is trying to engage area residents for input to see what they would like to see on the retaining wall behind 21 Main Street.

There will be a meeting held at 18 Court Street (Old Town Hall) on Wednesday, November 29th at 6pm.

Leadership Fauquier alums and cohorts are fulfilling our mission everyday by staying informed and connected.

This week was the Women's Business Council luncheon, and we all enjoyed hearing from Navy Veteran Bethanie Pitsky, founder of Lady Vet. Thank you for sharing your inspirational story with all of us, Bethanie, and thank you to the young women from Fauquier County Public Schools Southeastern Alternative School, who accepted our invitation for the sixth year to join us for lunch.

Amanda Hazlehurst, of LFQ 2023 was visiting Laurel Ridge Community College with some of her students from Auburn Middle School, and Michelle Cribbs of LFQ 2019 was part of the Laurel Ridge team helping with the visit.


The Leadership Fauquier 2019 Alumni Class represented well at the Fauquier Family Shelter 's Gala last night...and I'm aware there were also many more of our cohorts and alums at the event.

This engagement within Fauquier County is what we mean when we talk about our mission and we ask our cohorts and alums to help create a thriving community of informed and connected leaders.

What an amazing day at Leadership Fauquier's infrastructure, Planning and Zoning Program Day!

I could not provide the important information to the cohort on our wonderful Fauquier County community without the dedication of our partners. Welcome Corporal James Siler to the 2024 Leadership Fauquier cohort!

Jimmy joined the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy Sheriff in 2015. He was promoted to the rank of Corporal in 2022. He is assigned to the Adult Detention Center, and is the inmate programs coordinator for the Jail.

Siler enjoys attending events with the restored Sheriff's Office Cruiser, and is a member of the Sheriff’s Peer Support Team. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 young children.


Welcome Rachel Mannon to the 2024 Leadership Fauquier cohort!

Rachel is community representative from 2nd2nunn Sports, an independent nonprofit organization founded and operated by Veterans. Their mission is to mentor youth using principles of leadership and teamwork, fostering their potential through sports and physical fitness. This organization is headquartered in Fauquier County.

Within 2nd2Nunn Sports, Rachel plays a pivotal role in the baseball management team. Her responsibilities encompass effective communication, fundraising, and various organizational components, all critical for ensuring the program runs smoothly.

Rachel holds an Associates degree in Marketing/Management, a Certificate in Supervision, and a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance. Additionally, she is married to a military spouse and is the proud parent of three children.
