Warren County Board of Education Intends to Sell 2 Modular Units
The Warren County Board of Education has recently decided to dispose of 2 modular units located at 219 US-158 BYP, Warrenton, NC as surplus property and intends sell it utilizing the upset bid process described in NC G.S. 160A-266.
The Board invites all interested parties to submit their initial offers for purchase.
The property (Modular #1), which will be sold "as-is," is approximately 96ft long x 62ft wide with six classrooms, two restrooms, and two utility closets. At this time, the Board will only consider offers above $30,000.00.
The property (Modular #2), which will be sold “as-is,” is approximately 74ft long x 23ft wide. At this time, the Board will only consider offers above $20,000.00. Interested parties are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the procedures outlined in General Statutes, Chapter 160A, Article 12, and any relevant successor provisions.
Bidders must deposit five percent (5%) of their initial bid with the Board of Education at 109 Cousin Lucy’s Lane, Warrenton, NC 27589.
